← This is Pete, and therefore, I am Pete, since the person in that picture is me.

I'm a 21 year old college student with a double major in history and archaeology, and an obsession with writing. When I'm not studying, I'm writing. And when I'm not writing, I'm thinking about studying. Or writing. Or trying to figure out how I could possibly do both at the same time.

And, sometimes, on rare occasion, when the planets are lined up just right, and the stars are positioned just perfectly in the heavens, I draw. Sometimes. On rare occasion. Until now. I'm trying to change that, and get myself into the habit of drawing on a daily - or near daily - basis, along with the co-owner of this journal, a lovely lady named Soup. Inspired by her artistic expeditions, I've decided to join her, and we've both agreed to post our artistic travels on this blog.

For the most part, the majority of my drawings are original characters from my stories. Chances are, the characters you'll see the most of are Solaris, Joslynn, Laura, Lena, Griffin, Jackson, Sponge, Chester, Maurice, Iris, and Whiskey, all from various stories. Right now, they're my favorites, and my most beloved muses, particularly Solaris at this present moment. She's my stubborn, thickheaded little muse, and she loves to torment me.

So yes. Hopefully, I'll be updating with sketches near-daily, if not daily. So long as my ADD doesn't kick in. But even if it does, I suspect that Soup will kick and threaten me into continuing to post anyway.
